A: According to the press release by government , Akash tablet will be distributed to students through their respective institutions at which they are studying.
So, contact the student cell or Dean, Students’ Welfare of your college/institution. Akash tablet distribution has already started and 500 tablets were given to students at the press conference.
Q2: What is the exact price of akash tablet for students?
A: The price of akash tablet for student is Rs 1,720($35)
Q3: Is there any commercial version of akash tablet is available for Normal Consumers?
A: yes.
Q4: What is the price of akash android tablet for other consumers?
A: The price of Retail version of akash android tablet from DATAWIND will be INR 2,999 and it will be available from november as Datawind Ubislate.
Q5: From where the normal consumers can buy the commercial version of akash tablet?
A: from normal mobile stores, and online stores
Q6: What is the different between Government Akash tablet and Commercial version by Datawind?
A: cellular connectivity like 2G ,voice calls,text messaging Will only available on Commercial version from DATAWIND but Government version will only have wifi.
