Mediatek Dimensity 9400 chipset launch date has been confirmed by the Taiwanese company which is on October 9, 2024. The company post on social media saying that the users can expect a “new generation of Mediatek products” in its teaser.

What can be expected from the new Dimensity 9400 chipset?
- The new chipset will have an octa-core CPU: 1×3.63 GHz Cortex-X925 + 3×2.8 GHz Cortex-X4 + 4×2.1 GHz Cortex-A725.
- Leaked source has revealed that the performance of the new chipset processor will be 30%better than the Dimensity 9300.
- The new chipset will have the “Immortalis-G925 graphics” unit by Arm, which is the most efficient, high performing GPU to date, as said by the company.
- Also, the GPU of Dimensity 9400 chipset scored 134 fps in the GFX Aztec 1440p off-screen, higher than the 72 fps on the Apple A18 Pro and the 95 fps on last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
- ‘Aztec test’ is basically designed to simulate an intensive 3D game-like environment and push the graphics hardware to the limits, ‘1440p’ means the test running on the QHD resolution, and the ‘off-screen’ test means that on the raw performance, graphics has been tested.
Users can get an idea about the power of the new chipset as the potential of the Dimensity 9400 can easily be seen from the test results.

Expected devices to be launch with Mediatek Dimensity 9400:
- It is expected that Oppo will launch its two phones “Find X8” with Mediatek Dimensity 9400- Vanilla and Pro.
- It has also been heard from the rumours that Vivo X200 series will feature Dimensity 9400.

Hence, we can conclude that the Mediatek Dimensity 9400 chipset (and its component) will actually have the powerful processor and will be high-performance chipset in the market, but the new chipset (and its component) are good only if the phones manufacturers are equally good. So in future which companies will go with Dimensity 9400 in their flagships that we need to see.
