Balatro game is a deck-building roguelike game loosely based on poker, the game is developed by one-person Canadian studio LocalThunk. It was first released for PC, then after high-demand it got released on mobile as well, and it has emerged at the top of the iOS App Store and Google Play Store sales charts within 24 hours.

The game has break the record and jumped ahead of most of the famous evergreen mobile games such as Minecraft, Bloons TD 6, and Plague Inc.
Balatro was released for PC and consoles in February 2024, it presently accomplishes a “Mighty” rating on OpenCritic, derived from an aggregate score of 91 and has got a perfect 100% reviewer recommendation rating, making it one of the best and highest-rated games of 2024.
