Meta AI launches in the UK by “Meta”, owner of Facebook and Instagram, alongside AI-boosted sunglasses.This updated version of Meta AI chatbot will be available across Meta’s suite of apps including Facebook, Instagram, etc, along with hardware such as Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses for its maximum reach to users.
Now, Meta’s AI assistant which can create text and image launched on the social media platform of UK and Brazil, which already get launched in the US and Australia, while its services remain unavailable in the EU due to some regulatory issues.

Now, UK users those who are on social media will be able to access Meta AI chatbot, powered by the company’s latest large language model Llama 3, by tapping on an icon in their app or by buying a pair of £299 Ray-Ban Meta frames available to the UK retailer and can access its voice assistant.
It has also been announce by Meta’s co-founder “Mark Zuckerberg” that with the ability of responding to voice commands, Meta AI will also use the use the voice of celebrities including Judi Dench, John Cena and Keegan-Michael Key. But for now, this voice feature will not be available in UK.
Meta AI launches in the UK:
- The new launch of Meta will help users to get answers to their queried, brainstorm content and bring their ideas into the real life situations where they can easily share their the result of their thoughts and opinions with their local network and our broader global community.
- With the range of AI-voices, it can identify details in photos, edit images, generate creative captions, and even generate image. Users can ask it questions about anything naturally for the answer.
- It is launched on social media like Facebook and Instagram, where it will use social media post to train its AI models. UK users who want to stop Meta from using their posts, can fill out an objection form that can be obtained in their apps’ privacy settings.
Meta AI launches in five more countries with different language support:
Along with UK, Meta AI has been launched in five more countries that are-
Brazil, Bolivia, Guatemala, Paraguay, and the Philippines, including support for Tagalog.
In upcoming days, it will also roll out to Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Thailand, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and Yemen with Arabic, Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese language support.
Also, it’s not yet here, very soon Meta AI will be available in 43 more countries along with a dozen languages.The company states that very soon Meta AI will become the most used AI assistant with almost 500 million active users monthly.
