    One UI 7 release date, beta timeline, leaked features, and more

    Samsung One UI 7 release date is not confirmed but is expected to officially launch with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in early 2025.

    ONE UI 7 release date

    One UI 7 is Samsung’s next big software update based on Android 15 which is expected to bring significant improvements, smoother interface, improved app compatibility and security updates.

    Samsung One UI 7 Beta Release Date:

    It has been announced by the company that One UI 7 Beta will be available to developers before the end of 2024, exact date has not been mentioned but most likely in December 2024.

    The Beta will first available to flagship models such as the Galaxy S24 series, after that it will be available to premium and mid-range devices.

    The Beta version will not be limited to just Developers, public beta will also be available.

    The stable version of new software is expected to roll out in early 2025, with or shortly after the launch of Samsung’s next flagship phone series in 2025.

    As Samsung’s focus is on perfecting the new features for its users and ensuring compatibility for better user experience, this might be the reason of delaying the release of One UI 7.

    List of eligible devices for the One UI 7 update:

    Here is the list of Samsung Galaxy devices that are eligible for the new software One UI 7 update. The list includes-

    • Galaxy S Series: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy S21 (including FE devices).
    • Galaxy Z Series: Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Fold 4, Flip 4, Fold 3, Flip 3.
    • Galaxy A Series: Galaxy A73, A55, A54, A53, A35, A34, A33, A25, A24, A23, A15, A14, A05, A05s.
    • Galaxy M Series: Galaxy M55, M54, M53, M35, M34, M33, M15.
    • Galaxy F Series: Galaxy F55, F54, F34, F15.
    • Galaxy Tab Series: Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, Ultra, FE, FE+, Tab S8, S8+, Ultra, Tab A9, A9+, Tab S6 Lite (2024).

    The list is prepared on the basis of Samsung’s software update policy, and the devices mentioned above are launched with Android 13 or later, which are generally guaranteed to receive further updates including One UI 7.

    There is no official announcement regarding the devices that receive the new update. For the most accurate and up-to-date list, users need to wait for official announcement.

    Leaked features:

    Based on Android 15, Samsung’s new One UI 7 update is expected to offer several new features and improvements. These are as follows-

    Performance Enhancement:

    It is expected that One UI 7 will come with an improved responsiveness, fewer bugs, reduced lag which will be helpful in gaming experience.

    AI integration

    As this is a generation of AI, new software of Samsung will offer loads of AI features and enhancement like- smarter notifications, real-time text suggestions, and AI-generated summaries for apps, and many more.

    Customizable Themes:

    It will offer users an advanced options of revamped design featuring personalized themes and layouts options.

    Thermal Management Control:

    There will be an option of controlling Thermal management in which during intensive tasks users may be able to control thermal throttling of their device for better performance.

    Expanded Multitasking:
    There will be a more user-friendly task manager for users as well as better multi-window functionality for enhanced user experience.
