MagicOS 9.0 has been unveiled by the company Honor in China. The company is calling it as the world’s first “all-scenario personalized AI operating system”, with the deeper integration of AI voice assistant.

MagicOS 9.0: Powerful AI features
MagicOS 9.0 is based on Android-15, and will be able to work across a number of applications, utilizing MagicLM, Honor’s proprietary language model. “A powerful AI operating system that will be capable to understand natural language and computer vision, while also learning from your habits and being aware of context”, as said by the company.
It will work like a human assistant, with the help of in-app operation it will order a coffee for you, make the purchase itself and with a single prompt verify the payment as well.
Also, as said by the company, MagicOS 9.0 will have the industry’s first AI Deepfake Detection feature against scams and safeguarding users.
Design Updates
New features like- Versatile Desktop, Magic Lock Screen, and Magic Style – tools will be brought by the new OS to customize your experience.
Also, MagicOS 9.0 will bring an option of AI Gallery, AI Eraser, Face Restoration, and AI Image Expansion.
List of eligible devices:
List of dozen of devices along with a rollout timeline has been published by the company which will get an update of new OS. But, this is only for Chinese market now, international units have to wait a bit longer.
