November 26, 2024: The OxygenOS 15 update of the OnePlus Open will roll out in the US and EU next week only, as it has been revealed by the company today.
OnePlus Open has already received the OxygenOS 15 update in India as build CPH2551_15.0.0.200(EX01). Next week, it will be available for the US and EU as well. OnePlus 12 and 12R have received a taste of a new update based on Android 15, and now it’s a turn of “OnePlus Open” to get it.
What to expect from the OxygenOS 15 update of OnePlus Open:
OxygenOS 15 update based on Android 15 will bring loads of new features to the device. The features are as follows:
Ultra animation effects:
- The industry’s first parallel processing architecture is here, which offers a parallel response to enhance the multi-app switching experience.
- It adds parallel animation for widgets, components, folders, and more.
- Under extreme usage also, the display remains consistently smooth and seamless.
AI Retouch:
- It introduces the Enhanced Clarity feature for the clarity of low-quality photos.
- The remove reflections feature is introduced to remove glass reflections for clearer, more authentic photos through windows.
- Also, there is an AI Reflection Erase tool to enhance the picture quality.

- Users will get a new AI writing suite which includes the continue writing, polish and optimise style AI writing features to enhance content.
- A new format feature is introduced to organize the scattered information for a better reading experience.

- Redesigns home screen icons into new and improved icons; redesigns system function icons for greater visual consistency.
- Also, it Optimises the rounded corner design for extending the application of a continuous curvature.
Flux Theme:
- A new flux theme is introduced with a huge collection of high-quality themes.
- There is an option to customize for Always-On Display, the Lock screen, and the Home screen.
- Flux themes with one-take transition animations are introduced for seamless and smooth transitions between the Always-On Display, Lock Screen, and Home screen.
